A San Antonio Italian Legacy

About Volare

Volare has been a staple of San Antonio’s Italian dining scene since 1972. From its original Broadway location in Alamo Heights to its current home in the historic Olmos Pharmacy building. Eder Muniz took over the restaurant a decade ago, breathing new life into its beloved atmosphere while honoring its rich culinary heritage. He diligently preserved the old recipes that had made the establishment a local favorite, ensuring the traditional pizzas and pasta remained staples on the menu.
